In the Classroom or At Home....
What can I expect my child to be doing with
Panther's Den Learning Center curriculum programs?
Doctrinal Statement
The materials that ABC Jesus Loves Me offers are based on credible approaches to educating children. They’re also rooted in a Biblical foundation. To better understand what beliefs, inform our curricula and ideas, read below.
The Bible - We believe that the Scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments are the verbally inspired Word of God.
God - We believe there is but one living and true God who is infinite, eternal and unchangeable. We further believe that God existing in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus - Jesus is both the eternal Son of God and virgin-born Son of man. Having led a sinless life, He died on the cross for the sins of mankind. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His physical ascension and His visible return to earth to establish His earthly kingdom.
Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit executes the will of God through convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. It is the Holy Spirit, who empowers Born-Again Christians to live a lifestyle pleasing to God.
Man - We believe that all men are born sinners and because of sin are separated from God. Each can be forgiven by choosing the free gift of God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ. All who genuinely trust Christ are regenerated by the
Holy Spirit and united with Him for eternity.
Future - Jesus Christ's return is imminent. He will personally gather all who believe in Him and will establish His kingdom. All who reject Jesus Christ will endure eternal punishment in hell while those who place their faith in Christ will enjoy eternal life in heaven with Him.
Bible Translation
The New International Version is most commonly used in the ABC Jesus Loves Me Curriculum, as well as the Living Bible and the New King James. This decision is based on the version that I feel best conveys the meaning of a passage to a preschooler. Any version of the Bible may be substituted.
